As I begin the blog in earnest, I will try to set some goals. A hopefully humorous view of our current reality and possible future in North America. An education involving the lifestyles we use to express ourselves, and by which, we survive. There are no easy solutions if indeed we are facing a predicament, as opposed to a problem to be solved. Yet we all are capable of the change needed to prepare ourselves for a future of considerably less consumptive lifestyles. Once we learn to manage with less, we will find a new world of possibilities as interesting and fun as the Facebook, Googling world of today!
